Architectural fragments at Aphrodisias (Turkey)

Marble architectural fragments from the ancient city, Aphrodisias, in western Turkey (Anatolia). The Classical occupation was late Hellenistic and Roman (2nd century BC - 6th century AD). I worked on the prehistoric excavations in 1970 and took these photos in the research station depot. An internet search shows how Aphrodisias has changed since then.
